Woo, my conjecture that Orion is Chuck’s dad was right! Not that the clues weren’t totally obvious anyway…

And sheesh, now I can see where Chuck gets those moments of jumping to moronic, illogical conclusions. There no reason for Daddy Bartowski to get all freaked out over Chuck working for Roark when he knows that Chuck is the Intersect and works for the CIA.

I’m glad that Chuck was able to get his dream job mostly on his own merit, even if the process wasn’t entirely believable. And the connections between Chuck, Bryce, Orion, Jill, the CIA, and Fulcrum are all way too convenient, but it’s all a giant, idealized geek fantasy anyway, so bygones.

The ending sequence with the poppy song and the muted, tragic “nooooo” from Chuck was a little too cheesy for me, though. I was more inclined to laugh at how overwrought it was and how hard they were trying to get me to care than to be sad about Chuck being separated from his dad again.
