I don’t blame Chuck for taking the search for Orion into his own hands—I wouldn’t trust Beckman, either. And I’m not sure Sarah had legs to stand on with that huffy “You should have trusted me,” considering we’ve seen no evidence that she was doing anything on her own to help Chuck find Orion or get the Intersect out of his head.
It was nice that Sarah did eventually try to stick up for Chuck to Beckman, though, and that she knew him well enough to realize he was gone because he hadn’t made a commotion trying to get in to see Beckman. The General actually acknowledging Chuck’s usefulness and success against Fulcrum was a nice surprise. I hope her “It’s time for you to become a spy” turns into reality, as in training and PAY, rather than just something Fedak thought sounded good.
In the same vein, even though Casey did knock out Emmett and pack a gun against Chuck’s wishes, he did sort of let Chuck be in charge of the op to get Orion’s computer back from the Buy More. Again, I hope it’s a sign of things to come.
My Orion Speculation 1: He’s not dead, because we never saw him get into the chopper.
