Megan taking the purse form Rose to try to stop her from cheating came across more as Megan being a goody-two-shoes for the sake of all that’s good and righteous than her actually believing in Rose’ academic ability. This is mostly because she doesn't even try to talk to Rose about the cheating later, which is pretty messed up considering that Sage flat-out told Megan that it was all her fault. It isn’t necessarily true, but Megan should at least be concerned enough that she did something wrong to talk to Rose about it. She didn’t even bother to ask, “What were you thinking?!” until after Rose got her grades!

As for Luis… he got some great quips with the “You must be Laurel” to Sage and the “I said it loud.” Luis/Sage feels a bit trite and done-to-death, but maybe it will be cute anyway if they have decent chemistry.
