Writers: Kurt Sutter and Misha Green
Grade: A-
“You keep saying you want to change things, but you keep repeating old behavior. You can’t have it both ways.” Word, Tara, so much word.
I don’t blame Tara for ripping into Gemma for interfering at the hospital, and it was surprising that Gemma just let her do it, and even seemed to feel bad.
I’m lost as to why Bobby’s all, “Guys, we have to figure out what’s going on between Jax and Clay!” He doesn’t suspect that Stahl told him the truth last season about framing Opie as a rat? If he's not going to do anything with the info, what was the point of Stahl telling him? Did the writers just completely forget about that conversation or something?
I didn’t see Luanne’s murder coming at all, but I probably should have, because people don’t make empty threads on this show (besides Clay and Jax, anyway). I can’t wait for them to retaliate on this Georgie douche.
Overall, this was a solid transitional episode that was probably intended to bring the focus back to some of the porn business issues. I can’t say I was as riveted as I’ve been in the past, but this is still the most gripping show on my TV right now.
Miscellaneous Stuff
-It’s hilarious, and weirdly charming, that Tig is soft enough to want to save the two-fingered pervert.
